Is that going to be the extent of your exhaust system!?
If so I only wish that I could be there to hear you peel outta the parking lot!!

A few updates: Lost the use of one shop space, put everything into storage. A brutal winter came through this area. Found a new shop space, moved the project and keep moving forward.

Looks like a ford steering box?
              Is it reversed?

              Thanks for all the pics!!

You are correct on both accounts, 70's Ford f100 manual steering gear. It is reversed.

Re-flowed the original flux core wire welds with a TIG. Added gussets, bracing and supports. Moved the motor mounts forward for some more firewall and exhaust clearance.

Painted the frame with Duplicolor HWP102 Graphite Wheel Paint & HWP103 Clearcoat.

Added a number decal & flat cleared over it. Swapped the tractor seats out for plush boat seats.

Wish the added light color in the scheme I felt the stripe needed something more too...

Began wiring the chassis & lighting. Mounted the fuel injection controller & MSD DIS-4.

                            The first ever fire up:

The 2nd fire up, with mufflers.

...and the 3rd fire up, assembled the car and minor tuning. Hunting for idle, still needs a world of tuning:
