For my build I welded all my tin with a mig, 1 good tack at a time, when done just ran a flapper wheel over it all to take the rough edges off... and when it's all done I think it looks good, a bit of a theme. 1 or 2 random raw welds looks off, but imo if it's all left It looks good. Thanks for watching!
the horn buttons, Amazon, backlit blue and red
red is for the top one that's a motor siren
Blue for the vertical motor (oooga) horn.
Both i think I got from farm auctions... I love going to auctions, I've had them sitting around for years, finally get to put them to use. 👍

Looks like you need a bottle of argon mix and solid wire for your mig.... 😁
when I made the switch I NEVER looked back, welds will be so nice and clean.

Definitely my next purchase the mig I am currently using is a flux core only...
it was hard to go from argon to flux core, kept feeling like I was screwing something up lmao

Let me know if you get rid of those drip rails. I’ll need 6-8” for my chop.

Got a few little things done yesterday. Still have yet to pick up an engine or transmission. Have been giving some love to my powerstroke lately. But I got the glove box door built and mounted... also learned 3 ways you can't build a hinge! And I put some expanded metal in the rear window. Nothing big but a little progress is better than none.

Learning how not to do something is as important sometimes as learning how to do something. Learning how not to do something leads to thinking of different processes.

I don't think I've ever build a rod without discovering new ways to not do things, and I've built a few rods. Its always a learning curve. Gene
