  • 1926 Chrysler sedan To Z or not to Z

Deciding to z the frame of my 1926 Chrysler. It's my first build and was wondering if it would be to much for me to z the frame and redo the rear end. I have already took 5 inches out of the top to chop it.

What are your fab skills? What tools fo you have to work with? What are seeing as your end result with the car?

Fab skills are sub par (getting better everyday with small projects I do). Relatively new to the whole process but enjoy it. I have access to any tool or I can get it working for an auto body shop. I do enjoy the look of a lowered rat from the 20's 30's era I will not lie. There is something about that look. Seeing anything else lowered makes me want to buy them a lift kit for some reason haha, especially new trucks if they are not at the tracks. Click image for larger version

Practice practice practice. If you modify your frame you want to be 100% sure of your weld and fab skills. My last sedan layed frame. I also love the look of a slammed chopped sedan!
