Default Hello from Perth Western Australia

Finally getting around to my project - 1935 chev master sedan - duel suicide doors , rusty as. Am determined to build a cool ratrod out of this thing and looking forward to getting advice from the guys on the forum. Need to replace the rotted wood frame with steel but not sure exactly how to go about that at the moment - doing lots of research though!
    Regards Linton

Welcome from New Mexico. Good plan to replace the wood. Last year I rebuilt a '29 Chev sedan for a guy and dealing with the wood and getting body panels to fit was a pain.

Thanks Alaska gasser. Don't suppose you got any pics along the way? Been researching and trying to visualize it all but various threads I have found are all old and image pages have expired.

Sorry. We didn't take any. It would have been better to replace all of it with steel tubing, but the owner just wanted the worst replaced. I ended up welding the body panels together where I could to try and get the doors to fit and the one sill rail was completely shot as well as both upper rear roof corners. We decided to use the plastic porch decking material from Home depot and it worked pretty well. Definitely won't rot out again.

Rafaelgow- I'm new to this part of the country and can't suggest any.
