    Default 53 F250 frame swap!

    Here she is!



    I'm going to be putting it on either an Explorer or Ranger frame...I'm leaning towards Ranger right now.

    Yeaterday was teardown day!



    Here's how I got her:

    measure track width. If I remember correctly the newer rangers are wider then the older gens. I would take a tape measure to a wrecking yard to find out what is the best match.

    Explorer's have been done a few times & the Ranger compares very closely.



    I just gotta wait for the right one to come up now :)

    It's not Ford but Dakota is close to that width as well. When I did my ih frame swap I was able to find a beat up Dakota for $300. They are easy frames to work with too.

    No Paint! ... Well i'll patch it with a similar color but the theme will be patina.
