I was missing a door pin so I punched one out from another hinge and it just broke so I figured I should just make 4 new pins and I added a spike to it. The hinges are just sand blasted, I plan on spray bombing everything black on my final assembly. Here are some before and after pics.

I made the bracket to support the front clip and I got it all welded in. I was able to get everything bolted on properly this time and I also got my hood hinges and latches freed up so my hood is is on and working on both sides, I just need to get everything lined up a bit better.

I have about 8'' from the bottom of my grill to the ground.

Well now that I know I can post pics from my phone I figured I would give an update on my truck and sense there are so many builds out there that get started and never finished I didn't want people to think this was just another one. So anyways I had the cab and front clip mounted on a s10 frame but I hated the way the wheels sat so deep in the wheel wells, I had the front clip mounted in a way I wasn't to pleased with and I was about to become a Dad. So the truck was torn down and the s10 frame was scraped. At the end of last winter I picked up a 2wd 1995 dodge Dakota with the 318. The truck had a dead fuel pump so I was able to get the truck for $330 delivered to my door.

The green hood will be painted black and the fenders and grill will stay rusty. I have my steering mounted and brake booster and pedal all in solid. I ordered some seals for the front fenders to body so I should have them on later this week and I can take a few more pics. My goal is to drive it in the spring I don't think I have a lot left but my garage isn't heated and the winters in Alberta can be long and cold.
