    Default stretching a shaft drive

Anyone ever tried to stretch a shaft drive bike? I have a couple of them, but I'm 6'2 and they just look awkward being so stubby. I build them cuz they're cheap and reliable.

Not rocket science, most shaft bikes look to have a big sealed tube but you won't find oil in there, it just a big cover to kep folks legs out of the shaft.

Its not gonna be all that hard.

Ones I've ever seen had u joints on a solid metal shaft, inside that big hollow tube.

Yup, left foots gotcha covered, either a machine shop can help ya out....last on I did I put a machine gun typa shield over the shaft and had a painter friend-of-mine do a spiral on it, so when its movin', looks like a corkscrew....

Yea, all you gotta do is cut in and extend it, its gotta be indicated in on a lathe and welded, if out any, gotta kick it in a press to get her runnin true......

    Hope this helps.....
