  1. #1

    Default Rat Rod Woody ?

I was wondering if anyone has seen a rat rod woody ? I have an extra cowl section and I been wondering what to do with it. Here's a pic of one that I like except its not a rat . If some of you fine people would like to do some photo work. would be cool.

    Happy New Year !!

I like the concept. A good use for the cowl and something different from the usual. Just promise you won't paint the wood with flat black primer.

what about redwood stain on the panels and black trim?? LOL!

Make it out of barnboards to get the weathered patina look on the wood??

Rip down a bunch of rail road ties and put the kreosote side out. That should make it
    look real Rat.

A little late to this thread but there was an article in the december 09 Hot Rod magazine about a wody hot rod, looks like the guy made it all from scratch, and back in the 20's they were very common, called Depot Hacks, google it you'll get tons of pictures, they are awsome!
