    There's no name on them. But I beleive Nicson made them. They sold alot of boat performance parts back in the day. Thats how I found them by googling Nicson flame arrestors. They made some other off the wall air cleaners as well but there damn expensive. These are all over e-bay usually for around $50 or so.
    Heres a pic of one I had, the shiny one is a cal custom, the other is a nicson

    Default 1937 Gmc

    '37 cab,chopped 5" in the front and 4" in the back.'51 box norrowed and shortened.sitting on a '28 dodge car frame.running a '64 gmc truck 250 straight 6.grill shell is made out of about five or six scrap ones from the junk pile.

    36 IHC Cab & grille, Model A box, handbuilt chassis, not done yet though. I have a build thread going in the 1930's section here. (I guess it should be in the build section instead)
    A minutes worth of thinking can save hours worth of doing.

    I really like your ride, the cab and box look very good together. Also like that it looks level , not looking like it is broke down in the middle or something. I am really digging these cool rods made out of truck cabs, ect. I love my old 51 Chev, but I may have to start gathering some parts to start a project like this ! Hillbilly Style !!!! Keep us posted

    that is a sick @$$ f***in dually.. a big massive old diesel would make that a unique star in itself. already a beautiful beast as it stands.

    the rest of the trucks are awesome too but much 'sportier' that @$$ shot screams 'truck'
