Does anybody know if there is a lowering kit for a 1950 Chevy Pickup...springs and shocks, not air ride. Thanks -Connor

hey man, im in the same boat you are. Im getting mine home today. What i had planned to do with mine is take a few springs out. I read that 50 is the first year with gas shocks, so i think going about it this way would work fine. As far as an actual kit goes, all i can say is check and see what Speedway carries. Atleast that will give you an idea.

call SID, the owner of droppedaxles.com.

            http://www.droppedaxles.com/

he is a great guy. i have one of his 3 inch dropped fronts in my 57.

he is very helpful, and its a lot easier than doing an IFS swap.

yes, that is what i paid for my 3 inch dropped front axle, and thats the price for a 4 inch dropped also.
i got the entire 9 yards when i got mine, including spindles and king pins, steering arms, etc. all i had to do was take mine out and out his in.

again, sid is a great guy, giving me his personal cell number to answer any questions that i had.

give him a call, you wont be dissapointed.
