well? I'm using the stock suspension and stock steering and instead of making headers and pipes I just went with block huggers and turned them upside down and snailed the head pipes and heat wrap them,,its all done now and looks kool.

Sounds cool. Do you have pics of that?
I noticed you have little white tubes on some of the wires, Heat protection?
What is that stuff? It looks cool too.

Header wraps for plug wires,,any performance part stores.pics??? not yet,,soon

i'd like to see some pics of that exhaust I've got a 63 Ford P/U putting a 460 in and having troubles getting headers that will fit besides Sanderson for putting a 460 in a Studebaker. 300 bucks hurts. MEAN looking car though.

I will post more pics this comin weekend,,ight? I'll take them this week when I'm done with the wiring,,doin every bit by myself is a ***** tho,,it's takin to long,,I wanted it done for the rose parade of old cars today,,instead we drove my girlfriends hiboy in it,

I like your coupe, and the engine looks very good. The moon discs fit well with the shape of this car a lot. Yeah, keep posting pictures of it.

Sweet ride,I like header idea.
I had a 50 wagon, had exhaust issues also. Had to run one out the front of the engine,(drivers side) other one worked, but had a hard time. Might try it your way next time. Did you wrap over the motor like the old 360 degree stock car headers?

nope,,just went up from the flange and u-bend 3" radius down and under car to another flange(so I can remove at any time)18" glasspacks and out the back.cant wait to hear how it sounds.Oh,,and I heat wrapped the u-bends also.
