Feb 6-8th, its about the only thing goin on in this area that time of the year. Alot of shiny show stuff, but I was impressed how much old school ,ratty stuff was there last year.

have you ever done that show?

i did it a few years ago , never again, the people that run it, bob u , is ok they run blades rod shop in beaver. but what a hassel to be down there everyday worried about what " non car guy" is going to run his chain wallet down the side of my fresh paint. i remember the first year we had our drag car down there some girl opened the door climed over the cage, sat in the seat and i **** you not, cause in my circle of friends this is still yelled out from time to time says... " Agghhh Sh!+ Man i could see me rollin in this!",, i guess it was our fault for not having it roped off but oh well..

They would be complaining about my rusty car scratching their wallet chain! Also, my interior doesn't really look all that inviting either. That's why I built a rat, I don't have time to be worried about oblivious r-tards busting up my stuff. I used to work with a guy doing frame offs on Chevelles and the like, and life would suck if a drop of water got on one of those gems. Not for me. I still have a 71 Big Block Monte Carlo that I did in 1990 and it still sports the door ding that I got the first day that I had it out. Oh yeah, and the bent hood from the first idiot that inspected it after I had it painted that closed it from its corner rather than the middle (longest hood ever put on a Chevy).

No, the Apache won't be goin anywhere for a while, hopefully the Jalopy showdown. Too many toys, not enough cash flow. You know............... a little for the truck, a little for the bike, a little for the camper and ALOT for the government!:cool: The club's gonna have about a dozen or so in our display tho, there's alwys next year for me. Stop by & say hey if you go.

disapointing show some nice rats, alot of junk that shouldn't have been there.
